Brass Band rehearse every Wednesday during term time from 6.30pm-8.30pm in the Jack Hylton Room.
As a non-auditioning ensemble, Brass Band welcomes players of all abilities on every instrument. Although the ensemble is non-auditioning, auditions may be held for principal parts. Despite welcoming players of all abilities the band maintains a high standard, which has lead to them taking 4th place and a Most Improved Band at UniBrass 2015, as well as a Best Entertainment prize from Friezland at Whit Friday 2015.
This year the band competed at the UniBrass competition and once again took part in Whit Friday at Saddleworth.
