Today is the 20th May, which means that Proms is a month today… in light of this I thought it would be a good time to introduce another one of our main ensembles, the ULMS Choir!

Everyone concentrating hard to learn the new pieces
The ULMS Choir welcomes anyone who wants to join regardless of their previous music experience and usually performs a wide variety of songs, from traditional choral pieces to songs from musicals, and even the occasional pop song.

This year the ULMS Choir has been very active, performing at a wide range of events throughout the year, but Proms is their biggest one yet.
Slightly depleted numbers due to exams, but no dip in quality!
This year at Proms Choir will be demonstrating their ability to sing a diverse range of pieces by performing a song called ‘Run to You’, originally by Pentatonix, as well as a medley of songs from the musical ‘Les Misérables’.

They’ve been sounding amazing in rehearsals even with a limited number of people there due to exams, so we can’t wait to hear how they’ll sound when they’re back to full strength at Proms!
Concentrating hard on nailing a new piece!
**After a claim from another choir to being the friendliest on campus, we have completed some (unofficial) polling, and we are pleased to announce ULMS Choir is the ACTUAL friendliest choir on campus. In light of this we would like to say that if you fancy joining Choir for Proms there’s still time! Just get in touch with Nick Barker, our choir rep, or anyone else on Committee, who should be able to point you in the right direction!**
